A new Tanker and two new Fire Engines to South Savo,Finland

Rescue Department of South Savo got a brand new Saurus FSC29 Fire Engines and Saurus FS110 Tanker. The Fire Engines will serves at the Mikkeli and the Pieksämäki fire stations and Tanker will serve at the Savonlinna fire station.

Fire Engines are build on Scania P410B 4x4HZ chassis. Water capacity of the vehicle is 2.930 litres and it's equipped with rear-mounted Esteri fire pump, electric 5.4 tn Warn wicnh and Saurus 10 kVA hydraulic generator.

Tanker is build on Scania P420B 6x2*4NB chassis. Water capacity of the vehicle is 11.000 litres. In addition to water tank, this tanker also have midship mouned Esteri fire pump and Protek 622-2 water turret, which is placed on the roof of water tank.

A new Tanker to Kymenlaakso, Finland

Rescue Department of Kymenlaakso, Finland got a brand new Saurus FS100/10 tanker. The vehicle will serve at Hamina fire station.

This tanker is build on Scania P420B 6x2*4NA chassis. Water capacity of the vehicle is 10.000 litres. In addition to water tank, this tanker also have 800 litres foam tank and rear-mounted Esteri LK-6000 fire pump with Esteri RTP foam proportioner. Tanker also have TR75 water turret, which is placed on the roof of front module.

A new Tanker to Eastern Uusimaa, Finland

Rescue Department of Eastern Uusimaa, Finland got a brand new Saurus FS152/8 Tanker. The vehicle will serve at Porvoo fire station.

This tanker is build on Scania P500B 8x4NA chassis. Water capacity of the vehicle is 15.200 litres. In addition to water tank, this tanker also have 800 litres foam tank and rear-mounted Esteri D-240 fire pump with Esteri RTP foam proportioner. Tanker also have TR75 SH-K water turret, which is placed on the roof of water tank.

A new Combined Fire Engine / Tanker to Kymenlaakso, Finland

Rescue Department of Kymenlaakso, Finland got a brand new Saurus FSC80 combined fire engine / tanker. The vehicle will serve at Karhula fire station.

The Combined Fire Engine / Tanker is build on Scania P410B 6x2*4NA chassis. Water capacity of the vehicle is 8.000 litres and it's equipped with rear-mounted Esteri LK-6000 fire pump, hydraulic 6.8 tn Warn wicnh and 15 kVA hydraulic generator.

Two new Airport Fire Engines to Finavia airports, Finland

A new Saurus AFS100/7 Airport Fire Engines was delivered to Finavia airports in Joensuu and Vaasa, Finland.

Fire Engines are build on Scania P500B 6x6HZ chassis and they are equipped with 10.000 litres water tank. In addition to water tanks, these Fire Engines also have 700 litres foam tank and extinguishing powder 250 kg . Both vehicles are equipped with middle-mounted Rosenbauer N65 fire pump and Rosenbauer FixMix foam proportioning system. Vehicles has two water monitors, front mounted Rosenbauer RM35 and Rosenbauer RM80 which is placed on the roof of cabin.

Nordic Rescue Group acquires Sala Brand AB and expands operations to Sweden.

Nordic Rescue Group ("NRG"), which manufactures rescue vehicles, has today acquired the entire share capital of Sala Brand AB in Sweden. The transaction is part of the NRG's strategy as an international system supplier. With the transaction, NRG will expand its operations to Sweden, creating a leading Nordic rescue and fire fighting vehicle group.

New owner for Saurus and Vema Lift to strengthen growth

Sievi Capital plc will own majority shareholdings in Saurus Oy and Vema Lift Oy under the terms of
a transaction agreement signed on 7 January 2020. State-owned investment company Tesi (Finnish
Industry Investment Ltd) is a co-investor in the transaction arrangements. Saurus and Vema Lift,
manufacturers of firefighting and rescue vehicles, will in future form a newly founded corporate
group. The vendor, Kiitokori Group, will divest all ownership of the companies but will continue to
support their growth by providing additional capacity as a subcontractor.

Saurus Oy’s and Vema Lift Oy’s strong product portfolios, existing customer relationships and brand
recognition will enable accelerated growth to meet the market’s growing demand. There will
continue to be considerable investment in both product development and production capacity. The
ownership arrangements now agreed will form a strong framework for the new corporate group. A
new-generation and long-sighted entrepreneur that can rejuvenate the business and accelerate growth
in the global market for rescue vehicles was sought for the companies.

Rejuvenation and increased production will be achieved in the future also in a way that always
allows us to succeed together with our customers. Existing partnerships and cooperation platforms
form a springboard on which it will be a pleasure to build future operations. Kiitokori Oy’s CEO
Antero Sirkka is involved to support continuity of business operations until a new CEO for the
corporate group being founded has been appointed.
